The Family – A Reconciling Community

The Family - A Reconciling Community (August 2015) continues IAFN’s exploration of the theological basis for the concept of ‘family’ and celebrates the potential of Christ’s reconciling love lived out in family and community settings. It shows how practical expressions of this theology can help to strengthen partnerships between family members and encourage reconciliation where relationships have been broken by stigma, substance abuse, clashes of culture or teenage rebellion.

AOCICC - Anglican-Old Catholic International Co-ordinating Council August 2014 - Communiqué

The Anglican-Old Catholic International Co-ordinating Council (AOCICC) met in Zurich, Switzerland, from 26 to 30 May 2015. The host of this meeting was the Old Catholic Church of Switzerland / Christkatholische Kirche der Schweiz. This was the third meeting of the Council under its current mandate.

Communiqué from the meeting of ARCIC III in Villa Palazzola 2015

The Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission (ARCIC) is the official body appointed by the Roman Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion to engage in theological dialogue in order that they may come into visible unity and full ecclesial communion. It held the fifth meeting of its current phase (ARCIC III) in an atmosphere of shared prayer and friendship at Villa Palazzola, the summer residence of the Venerable English College in Rome, 28 April–4 May 2015

The focus of this year's 59th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW59) was a 20-year anniversary review of the landmark Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, unanimously adopted by 189 countries at the 1995 Fourth World Conference on Women as an agenda for women’s empowerment and a global policy document on gender equality.

IATDC - Inter Anglican Theological and Doctrinal Commission

The current Inter-Anglican Theological and Doctrinal Commission was set up in 2001 and given a mandate to study the nature of communion, and ways in which the relationship between the autonomous churches which make up the Anglican Communion could be sustained and strengthened.
